Nintendo Switch marks the first encounter with the haunting “FATAL FRAME: Maiden of Black Water,” commemorating the 20th anniversary of the horror-adventure series.

Story
Once revered as a spiritual sanctuary, Mt. Hikami witnessed the peculiar worship of water as a deity, entailing grim events and enigmatic occurrences. Three protagonists—Yuri Kozukata, Miu Hinasaki, and Ren Hojo—unravel the intertwined mysteries of the foreboding Mt. Hikami, notorious for claiming many lives.

Gameplay
Equipped with the Camera Obscura, a special tool to ward off vengeful ghosts and suppress their powers, players venture into Mt. Hikami, delving into its past incidents through distinct missions led by different protagonists. Aside from fending off malevolent spirits, the Camera Obscura unveils invisible elements and aids in recovering lost items.
